Pranjal Chanda is a highly skilled Embedded Firmware Developer and Hardware Design Engineer with a diverse range of experience across various platforms and technologies. With a passion for learning and exploring new technologies, Pranjal is an expert in Embedded C/C++, Arm Cortex MCUs, RTOS, Networking, IoT, Wi-Fi, BLE, Systems Design, Python, and JAVA J2SE (Advanced), as well as Schematics and PCB design. Currently working as a WLAN Firmware Engineer at Qualcomm, Pranjal has previously held roles as Co-Founder at VisorFolks and Senior Firmware Engineer at Tata Elxsi. At Tata Elxsi, Pranjal was responsible for major developments and testing of firmware applications, including driver development and application development over major platforms such as STM32, TI, Renesas, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, and various RTOS (FreeRTOS, ThreadX, TI-RTOS) and bare-metal platforms. He has also worked on IoT-based projects, including end-to-end stack development and application level development, achieving the project requirements. Pranjal is highly skilled in BLE automation testing using Python and Bluez over the Linux platform and has contributed towards hardware level testing as well. He is also experienced in several software tools, including e2etudio, STMCubeMX, Code Composer Studio, J-Link, ST-Link Utility, UniFlash, Python, and Postman, as well as several project management tools such as AWS, Azure DevOps, JIRA, JAMA, Mercurial, and Git. Pranjal holds a Master of Technology in Embedded Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, as well as a PG-DESD in Embedded Systems and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. He also holds a Secondary degree from Kendriya Vidyalaya. With 4.68 years of relevant experience, Pranjal is a highly motivated and skilled engineer with a passion for producing quality work and exploring new technologies.
