Pranjal Nayak is an accomplished Associate General Manager at Reverie Language Technologies, with over 11 years of experience in product development focused on Indian languages and the Indian market. He is leading an inspired team of engineers who are creating innovative products for Indian users. In his current role, Pranjal is responsible for the engineering vision and strategic lead for the organization in terms of technologies, performance, and costs. He plans, organizes, and implements operational structures for all engineering functions and mentors all R&D developments in Speech and NLP technologies. Pranjal is also responsible for the technology road-maps and development, budget planning for data collection and curation for all development requirements, and directly responsible for all technical deliveries/integrations for OEM clients (fonts and display solutions). He is actively involved in product solutioning for client requirements. Pranjal has previously held positions as Technical Manager for Language Tools & Technologies and Project Leader (R&D) at Reverie Language Technologies. In these roles, he led the development and integration of BIS compliant language solutions for Feature Phones and Android Smart Phones, localisation projects for large clients, and the development of OS level support for Indian languages on Android devices. He has also worked on bi-directional algorithms for rendering of RTL (right to left) and LTR (left to right) simultaneously. Pranjal has a Master's degree in Computer Science from Tezpur University, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics (Hons) from Cotton College. He completed his 12th grade from FHSS, Amingoan, and his 10th grade from Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Dibrugarh. He has expertise in Android, NLP, and Integration technologies and has a total of 13.53 years of relevant experience.
