Prankur Verma is an experienced professional with a strong background in software development and verification IP. He currently works as a Verification IP RnD Engineer at Cadence Design Systems, where he develops algorithms with command on C++, Python, and Java programming. Prankur is a firm believer in learning by doing and possesses strong critical thinking skills, diligence, and high energy. In his current role at Cadence Design Systems, Prankur is responsible for Verification IP development with C++ for the USB-3.x protocol, automation with Python, and debugging stuff around them. Prior to this, he worked as an R&D Software Engineering Consultant at Cadence Design Systems, where he developed and tested C/C++ based Verification IP for protocols such as UART, Ethernet BaseT1, and memory model blocks. He also built automation tools around it using Python and Shell scripts. Prankur has also worked as a Research Assistant Intern at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, where he contributed to the development of a tool to generate addresses and do automatic testing to boost the coverage for the verification of the C-Class and I-Class processors. He also worked on other projects like Intrusion detection system using Artix 7 35T FPGA and PIR sensor. Prankur holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Dr. A.P.J.
