Prannay Jain is an experienced software developer with over 9 years of experience in the product-based software industry. He is skilled in JavaScript (React), HTML, CSS, Java8, Algorithms, Data Structures, System Designing, and Testing. Prannay has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University, College Station, and a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Science from IIT-BHU, Varanasi, India. Currently, Prannay is working as an SDE II at Amazon Advertising since February 2019. He is working as a full-stack engineer in Amazon’s Advertising Group on DSP web application that advertisers use to create and manage online advertising campaigns to show ads to the targeted customer segments, domains, or geographical locations. Prannay has designed and implemented the UI widget from scratch in React to update the supply source inventory while bulk editing the line-items. He has also migrated campaign data-tables to new React-16 based UDC framework which reduced the development time by almost 50%. Prior to Amazon, Prannay had three years of work experience each at MathWorks (Boston metropolitan area) and Citrix R&D (Bangalore, India). At MathWorks, he designed and implemented various features such as marquee selection, click-in rename, and made CFB keyboard accessible. At Citrix R&D, Prannay worked as a Software Development Engineer II, mostly at application layer protocols like HTTPS, DNS, SMB, and at transport layer protocols like TCP, UDP. Prannay has mentored and guided several engineers on more than 3 projects while also leading the work and responsibility for the deliverables. He has maintained docs and tickets to track the status of the project. Prannay has a strong engineering background and has achieved several accomplishments throughout his career.
