Prannoy Rattan is an experienced ISTQB certified software automation tester with a passion for automation. He has more than 7 years of experience in large and medium enterprises, with his strengths lying within Selenium and Java. Prannoy has had a lot of hands-on experience with rest assured, Rest API testing, database testing (MSSQL, OracleSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra), Kafka, Docker, GIT, SVN, Team-city, Jenkins, and Linux environments. Currently working as an Internship Trainee at Accenture, Prannoy's responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing requirements related to IVR and the integrated web application, creating test scenarios and test cases, executing test cases, and performing regression tests. He also creates a defect sheet and re-executes failed test cases after bug fixes. In his previous roles at Accenture, Prannoy worked as an Associate Software Engineer and Test Analyst. In both roles, he actively participated in daily stand-up, sprint planning, demo, and sprint retrospective meetings to monitor the ongoing activities of the project. He analyzed user stories and exit criteria and prepared test tasks on the sprint board. Prannoy also developed/maintained web driver wrapper methods to enhance the existing framework and created, debugged, and handled exceptions - WebDriver scripts. He executed selenium scripts, analyzed test reports, and located the exception layer where failure of test scripts occurred and fixed the scripts. Prannoy holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology. His tech stack includes SDET, test, QA, Kafka, Selenium, Java, Docker, Cassandra, MSSQL, MongoDB, Jenkins, and SQL. With 9.11 years of relevant experience, Prannoy is a skilled automation tester with a strong understanding of automated testing methodologies and frameworks.
