He holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from Arizona State University, Tempe, USA, and is an alumnus of the University of California, Berkeley. Prasad has a mix of experience working in series A product startups, late-stage startups, and big multinational companies. Prasad has delivered high-quality software products that scale, built and managed teams, put together software development processes, and guided team members in architectural and tech decisions. He is skilled in growing and managing teams and is technically aligned and well-versed in influencing data-driven technical, operational, and process changes towards excellence. Currently, Prasad is an Engineering Leader at Confluent, driving the Kafka Connect Charter in Bangalore. He is building cloud-native services and systems around Kafka to deliver a highly available and scalable data streaming ecosystem.
