Prasad Parameswaran is a self-driven and detail-oriented software engineer with over 3 years of experience in programming and customer engagement. He is proficient in C, C++, MATLAB, and Simulink and enjoys working on challenging technical problems. Currently working as a Senior Software Engineer In Test at MathWorks, Prasad has developed test infrastructure, test tools, and worked on automated testing of features in compiler optimizations, image processing, and computer vision. Prior to his master's in Control systems at IIT Bombay, Prasad worked on electrical maintenance of tyre production line at MRF tyres. He is a collaborative individual who can contribute at each stage of software development. Prasad has experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test-tools, fuzz testing infrastructures to make testing easier, efficient, and scalable. He has also developed/maintained testing frameworks used to write automated tests and developed test strategies and test procedures for effective testing of features in automatic code generation features of Embedded Coder product. Prasad has authored tests and performed feature-based testing activities to ensure the quality of features developed in previously mentioned products. He has also worked on performance improvement of automatic code generated from MATLAB Image Processing toolbox functions. Algorithms were refactored/refactored to reduce time complexity, introduce parallelization, and reduce data copies. Prasad has provided technical support to customers in resolving issues encountered while using MathWorks product families. In addition to his technical skills, Prasad is a football player and is learning to play the flute. Prasad holds a Master of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering (Specialization: Control and Computing) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from NSS College of Engineering, Palakkad. Prasad's tech stack includes test, software engineer, SDET, Image Processing, Computer Vision, infra, and OpenCV.
