Prasad Shahane is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in the finance and technology industry. He is currently the Head of Lender Partnerships at rupeek, one of India's largest Fintech companies. Prasad has built the partnerships team from the ground up, which has helped deliver one of India's largest Fintech + Bank loan book (off balance sheet). He has also led on-balance sheet debt raise and API integration with the lenders on the platform. Prasad has been instrumental in India's first co-lending arrangement in gold loans, which has further strengthened rupeek's position in the market. Prior to his current role, Prasad was the Head of Growth, Lender Partnerships at rupeek, where he was responsible for online and offline demand generation, performance marketing initiatives, and alliances and partnerships. He played a key role in achieving 10x growth in disbursements through early call centre and support team set-up. Prasad also led digital marketing and customer insight management, and was involved in Rupeek's first brand roll-out effort, first ATL roll-out effort, and first PR effort. Before joining rupeek, Prasad was the Head of Strategic Partnerships and Outreach at Simplilearn, where he was responsible for driving multi-million dollar revenue through monetization of content, process, and distribution capabilities through a network of affiliates, franchisees, enterprises, and other publishers. He pioneered agile content delivery through a content marketplace model for authors. Prasad holds an MBA in Finance and Capital Markets from nmims and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from kj somaiya college of engineering, vidyavihar. He has a strong tech stack in integration and leverages his skills to build strong partnerships and drive growth. Prasad is currently hiring to build credit distribution in rural India, and his expertise and experience make him a valuable addition to any team.
