Prashant Kumar Dey is a cybersecurity expert with a mission to teach at least one million students in the next three years using technology to create next-gen products. He holds a master's degree in Digital Security from EURECOM and has experience working with various startups, new technologies, and MNCs like BMW and Google WebRTC in France, Singapore, and India. Prashant's technical knowledge has helped him build DIYguru, FindMeMentor, and Timoo, and working with startups has given him the ability to look into the business side of product development and understand client requirements. Prashant's postgraduate diploma course at the Department of Management Science, IIT Delhi in Entrepreneurship led to the birth of FindMeMentor.com, an AI-enabled edtech marketplace where anyone can teach online and earn money. The AI technology helps in understanding student engagement and works towards elevating student performance. Currently, Prashant is a Visiting Faculty at iu international university of applied sciences, where he teaches cybersecurity to master's students in collaboration with Upgrad. His job role includes creating courses on cybersecurity, taking classes on "Cryptography," and helping students with projects. Previously, Prashant worked as a Subject Matter Expert at Hero Vired, where he taught courses on Frontend Development, Backend Development, DevOps, Databases, Frameworks, Security, and General Topics. He also worked as a Chief Technology Officer at Infosec United, a community that helps people with cybersecurity queries. As CTO, he was responsible for the development of community platforms, leading open source projects, solving cybersecurity queries, and taking free classes on cybersecurity. Prashant's education history includes a Master's degree in Digital Security from EURECOM, a Post Masters Certification Course in Entrepreneurship from the Department of Management Studies, IIT Delhi, a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from KIIT University, and a Matriculation degree from Millia Convent English Medium School. His tech stack includes AI, AWS, Frontend, Backend, Python, Django, Kubernetes, Docker, MySQL, MongoDB, DevOps, Flask, Azure, GCP, Web, and Senior Software Engineer.
