Prashant Awasthi is a highly experienced software development manager with over 11 years of experience in management, development, deployment, and CI/CD best practices involving Azure and AWS Cloud-based Microservices, Kubernetes, Cloud-based fintech products, payment systems, UPI, digital wallets, streaming platforms, and core application platform development. He has a Master's degree in Information Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Prashant has a proven track record of designing and developing complex systems for various industries. He has worked on the Clubcard loyalty and price programs for TESCO stores in London UK and Republic of Ireland using microservices, and designed and developed targeted composite insurance products recommendation like Health, Life, shop, etc. over and above the sanctioned loan based on rule engine (Drools). He has also designed and developed a loan terms and conditions communication platform to be used for customer email and SMS communication in real-time as well as in bulk mode. Prashant has experience in building two wallet backend systems OlaMoney and Reliance JioMoney from scratch. He has also built the Reliance Jiomoney digital wallet platform from scratch and UPI interface for Reliance Jio Payments bank. He has experience in Youtube video content monetization and related advertisements correlation-based platform using Spark. Currently, Prashant is heading the Clubcard loyalty and prices program for UK and Republic of Ireland TESCO stores business using Azure-based microservices and NoSQL solutions as a Software Development Manager. He has previously worked as an Engineering Manager at Lendingkart, where he developed a rule-based insurance calculation engine for loan and insurance-based packaged products to be offered to SMEs in India using Drools and microservices. He has also worked as a Team Lead at Jio, where he built the UPI-based payments for Jio payment bank.
