Prashant Biradar is a highly experienced Principal Software Engineer with more than 8 years of experience in enterprise software development. He is currently working at Veritas Technologies LLC as a Senior Software Engineer, where he is responsible for working on the Netbackup flex scale product, which is a scale-out solution for backup and restore operations. Prashant is a full-stack developer with a good understanding of distributed systems, cluster management, high availability of resources, shared file systems, and more. He has experience in developing e-commerce, retail web applications, and IoT web applications. His current work at Veritas has given him a good understanding of the storage domain, including clusterized solutions, ability to scale, replace bad nodes, perform backup and restore operations, storage provision with long term retention, data deduplication, disaster recovery, immutability and ransomware protection, supportability, license management, upgrade patches, and eebs. As a senior resource, Prashant has been leading and mentoring teams to follow best coding practices, code review, peer programming, and code refactoring wherever required. Prashant has extensive experience working on Angular, Node JS server-side programming, and Python for writing scripts for distributed systems.
