Prashant Gour is a Civil Engineer currently employed at Royal Dutch Shell. He joined the company as a graduate Pipeline Engineer in August 2016 and has since worked on several projects in select and execute phases. His experience includes working on flexible riser solutions, dynamic hydraulic analysis, geotechnical investigation, pipeline design, and civil execution. Prashant has completed the Shell Graduate Program in Pipelines and has started the Shell Advanced Technical Program in Civil & Structural to broaden his experience. He is currently based in Singapore at the Bukom refinery as a Civil Engineer. Prashant has participated in many national conferences and undertaken development projects and events during his university days, which helped him develop his overall personality. He has worked in AIESEC, the largest youth running organization in the world, spread across more than 100 countries. Working in such a diversified environment with people from different cultural backgrounds has helped him develop essential skills for teamwork. Prashant enjoys taking initiatives and shouldering responsibilities, and he has worked in the civil engineering departmental fest (Megalith), starting it from scratch and making it a success. This included a lot of groundwork and strategic thinking, which boosted his confidence level. Prashant's experience working with a team of six colleagues has enabled him to develop skills in collaboration, negotiation, and co-operative problem-solving. In his previous roles, he has worked as a Pipeline Engineer at Royal Dutch Shell and has also worked on flow assurance analysis and on bottom stability design of flexible composite pipelines offshore at Shell. Prashant holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He has relevant experience of 7.28 years.
