Prashant Gupta is a Data Science professional currently working at Microsoft as a Data & Applied Scientist 2. Prashant has won a bronze medal on Kaggle and has published a paper as a primary author under Springer proceedings. Before joining Microsoft, Prashant worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Think Future, mainly working alongside the intersection of Computer vision and NLP. He built a bank forms parser for cheques, mandates, etc., which is capable of extracting printed and handwritten information for each required field with more than 70% document level accuracy. He also worked on a generalized image denoising system, achieving 80% document level accuracy on an in-house solution for unstructured legal documents, and made customized solutions on real-time face recognition like intruder detection/Attendance system using person tracking, human detection along with FR. Prashant has also worked as a Data Scientist at Kvantum, where he worked on a product called VoC (recursive text clustering) used for getting marketing insights and resolved various issues, including linked StackOverflow issue.
