Prashant Jalan is an accomplished Engineer, Advisor, and Entrepreneur with over 8 years of relevant experience in the technology industry. He is a Senior Machine Learning Lead at Google, where he is responsible for guiding junior engineers and researching new state-of-the-art techniques to extract useful entities/information from billions of Google's StreetView images at scale. Prashant's expertise lies in Deep Learning and other Machine Learning applications, with a particular inclination towards Computer Vision. He has also worked on Robotics, Android, backend server systems, and performance-critical applications. He has presented at various international conferences and events on his own research and general topics encompassing Machine Learning and AI space. In addition to his role at Google, Prashant is an Advisor/Investor, partnering with early-stage startups as an advisor and/or investor. He is fascinated by the dynamics of the financial market and has an affinity towards options derivatives and market volatility.
