Prashant Jhingran is a seasoned product management professional with over 22 years of experience in the technology industry. He is currently working as the Director of Product Management at Visa Inc, where he is a part of the growing Visa Direct platform, enabling safe, convenient, and real-time push payments to more than a billion card and account holders globally. Prior to joining Visa, Prashant worked as a Senior Product Manager at Reliance Jio, where he was part of the launch team that created digital payment disruption in India via new-age payment products such as Jio Pay and Jio POS. He also launched a next-gen digital payment point-of-sale (POS) ecosystem consisting of POS terminals and backend infrastructure, conceptualized, designed, and tailor-made to bring digital disruption in India as part of the JioMart initiatives targeting 25 million stores across the country. Prashant has also worked as a Senior Product Manager at Jio Cloud Services, where he was part of the revolutionary team committed to providing app-based services such as Jio Cloud, Jio TV, Jio Cinema, Jio Music, Jio Money, and Jio Security. He was inspired by the Make in India initiative to build India's largest public cloud. RailTel - IIT Roorkee has become the first public customer using the Jio Cloud Service platform to deploy the Satellite Based Agriculture Information System. Prashant holds an Executive MBA in Sales and Marketing from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, and a B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics from the National Institute of Technology Calicut. He is skilled in product management, parts-of-speech, backend, infra, and mobile technology.
