Prasant Kumar is a highly experienced and passionate Software Engineer with over 10 years of experience in developing robust and scalable web applications. Currently, he is serving as a Lead Consultant at AllState in Bangalore. Prasant has expertise in both .NET and JAVA Full Stack Development as well as UI development using React and Angular. Prasant's past experience includes working as a Technical Lead at Citi, where he was responsible for developing and maintaining the Global Payments Processing System, which processed payments for corporate clients. He also developed the Citibank Balance Enquiry System using Angular and ASP.NET WebApi, which allowed users to retrieve customer balance information and render it on the web UI. Prasant has also worked on various other critical systems handling trillions of dollars on a given day. He has led a 4-member team for driving cross-functional and revenue-generating projects and has worked on technology and infrastructure upgrades such as high availability upgrade and improved system performance. In his previous role as a Consultant 4 at Unisys, Prasant worked on the American Express project, which was a document management system built around the Unisys base document management product InfoImage. He worked on key projects, including iVu, where he successfully rendered customer card information on the web browser fetched from Unisys product InfoImage through its public rest API’s. Prasant holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Vishveshwaraiah Technological University. He has a strong technical skill set, including Web, UI, .NET, AngularJS, ASP.NET, SQL, Microservices, Backend, Swift, and Java.
