Prashant Pandey is a Software Development Manager (SDM) at Amazon, Inc. with over 7 years of relevant experience in the field of software engineering. He is a quick learner, engineer, problem solver, and a person who believes in continuous learning to bring about change. Prashant is passionate about new industry standards and tech-hacks that revolutionize the world, and he wants to contribute to bringing about this change. Throughout his various jobs, Prashant has worked on many tools and technologies, adapting to different fields and finding innovative solutions to problems. He loves to hack challenging activities on a day-to-day basis. Currently, he is building Amazon-internal scalable web applications at Employee Services Technology using various AWS services. In the past, he built scalable high-volume applications to empower Alexa customers to play music via various music providers and built data analytics tools via ingestion pipeline to mitigate and prevent macro fraud and abuse cases. Prashant has also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at ITRE, NCSU, where he developed secure web-based pages using MVC Rails framework and best practices of web application development. He also contributed to developing an open-source tool in Java, CostVal, for ITRE, NCSU. As a Software Engineer Intern at A10 Networks, Inc., he implemented Apache Avro data serialization mechanism for (L7) data plane logs and introduced support for atomic counters in existing infrastructure of A10 Networks. Prashant holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Sciences, General from Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology. He has a strong tech stack that includes Software Engineering, AWS, Web, Infra, Research Scientist, UI, Ruby, and Java.
