Prashant Parashar is a self-motivated IT professional with over 4 years of experience in software engineering. Currently, he is working as a Senior Software Engineer at Walmart. With deep knowledge and proficiency in React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and mobile responsive website development, Prashant is an expert in coding bug-free and efficient code. In his previous role as a Senior Software Engineer at Hashedin, Prashant worked on two major clients, American Express and Cargil. For American Express, he developed a workflow for onboarding a user in an organization that can manage some of the organization’s corporate credit card based on the department. He also built the complete frontend based on the Amex design system and managed a team of three people. For Cargil, Prashant built a delivery module from scratch in an existing project using React and Redux, which is currently being used by millions of farmers. He also implemented a skeleton loader in place of a normal spinner in the whole product, which reduced the perceived duration and improved performance. As a freelance developer, Prashant developed a complete frontend for the Voucher Money app based on Bootstrap. He also implemented a CI/CD pipeline to deploy code on Netlify using GitHub actions, reducing deployment time by 50%. He developed an Admin Panel that enables the admin to approve vouchers and users and used ChartJs to develop line and bar charts to track the revenue generated from vouchers on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis. Prashant holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from VIT and completed his HSC from Summer Fields School.
