Prashant Ruwali is a Senior AI Product Manager at AI Labs, American Express with over 7 years of experience in the financial service industry. His primary responsibility is to conceptualize and build the next generation of AI/ML governance capabilities for all models developed within American Express. Prashant is also responsible for promoting AI/ML and Big data ecosystem within the company by enabling instructor-led and self-paced training curriculum on analytics, machine learning, etc. During his initial days at Amex, Prashant's work was focused on building capabilities and processes to support individual risk decision science domain, which helped him gain exposure in the big data and machine learning space. He has gained expertise in working in AI/ML specific products, and his current work involves mentoring over 2000 colleagues at Amex in AI/ML and Big Data. Prashant has ideated and built an enterprise learning platform to spearhead an enterprise-wide charter for user education on AI/ML and Big Data. He has also designed and administered a platform to enable Data Scientists and Analysts to collaborate and solve AmEx specific business problems. He has hosted five competitions in one year with 700+ total cumulative participation. Prashant started his career as an intern at HCL, where he worked on a project on System Information involving MySQL, .NET, C#, and web application development. He holds a Master of Technology (MTech) in Computer Software Engineering from the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore and a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Information Technology from the College of Engineering Roorkee.
