Prashant Shankar is a dynamic and driven software engineer with a passion for exploring different domains of computer science. He is currently a Member of Technical Staff - 2 at Nutanix, where he works on Clusters on AWS, KPI dashboard, and Network monitoring tool. Prashant has gained valuable experience working with some of the world's leading companies, including Oyo and JP Morgan. As a Software Development Intern at Oyo, he developed Full Stack development for Oyo Vacation Homes and Belvilla. During his time as a Software Engineering Intern at JP Morgan, he developed an Electron-based desktop GUI application integrating the Amelia chatbot Alyx with the Digital assistant. He also revamped the search feature of the application by merging the results from all the possible search categories such as windows start results, Microsoft Outlook Tasks folder results, profile results, internal URLs into one single search field in the application and ordered them based on the search context. He also implemented a pluggable framework for the core application making it easier and faster to add new features and third-party custom scripts: using Webpack and ReactJS. Prashant completed his Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electronics and Instrumentation from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani in 2020. He has a strong technical background and is skilled in Software Engineering, AWS, Search, and ReactJS. Prashant is always on the lookout for new challenges and opportunities to grow and develop his skills. With 2.43 years of relevant experience, he is a valuable asset to any team he works with.
