Prashant Sharma is an experienced Software Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the tech industry. He is currently serving as the Development Team Lead at Biofourmis, where he leads a team of developers to create innovative solutions for the healthcare industry. In his previous role as a Software Engineer at Charmboard, Prashant implemented an auto-generated Hashtag feature for Charms and Cards to get discovered by new audiences. He used Mongo Change stream to access real-time data changes and developed a feature that used to accept user-submitted videos. Based on the approval decision, it performs an asynchronous call to AWS lambda function for HLS conversion which provides the user with a seamless experience of HTTP Live Streaming. Prashant also revamped CMS with new features like publishing controls of audience photos and questions/answers, detailed analytics about users, location charms features that allow content to be added and updated after initial publication. He automated the beauty charm feature, where after the selection of the MakeUp steps, the different brand's product mapping done automatically and uniquely with each step, which led to an increase in the efficiency of the user. Prashant has also worked as a Software Engineer at Ajir Technologies, where he built the major part of the backend from scratch. He designed and configured the database and backend applications and mentored people. He developed a system for staff attendance tracking, automated the process of hiring and terminating staff, raised concerns, and tracked complaints via the helpdesk. Prashant also setup different environments for staging to production, integration with third-party (CI, sentry, Prometheus, etc.), monitored EC2 instances, S3, code deployment to production, and Nginx logs rotations to S3. Prashant holds a Master's degree in Computer Applications from NIT Calicut and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad.
