Prashant Singh is a Senior Engineer in Camera Software at Qualcomm, with a diverse range of skills in C, C++, Linux, Embedded Systems, Android HAL, Multimedia, and Camera IP. Prashant is an avid learner, with a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the University of Delhi. Prashant has experience working on firmware development for GoPro Spherical (360) and Hero Cameras, as well as camera accessories, at the Offshore Development Centre (ODC) Altran (erstwhile Aricent). His responsibilities included understanding the GoPro Camera features specification and implementing/maintaining various modules in the camera firmware. Prashant has also designed high-level and low-level firmware for the above-mentioned features/modules. He has worked on several products, including the GoPro MAX and GoPro HERO 8 Black, and the GoPro HERO 7 Black/Silver/White. At Qualcomm, Prashant has contributed to the development of Qualcomm Sight™/ Spectra™ ISP Camera HAL for Snapdragon Mobile, XR/VR & IOT Platforms. He has also supported and maintained existing Qualcomm’s Camera HAL implementation for different OEMs. Prashant is a productive, self-motivated, and collaborative engineering professional with over 5.53 years of relevant experience.
