Prashanth's career began as a Software Engineer at Samsung R&D Institute India, Bangalore, where he was responsible for developing VR and graphics solutions for the Android mobile platform. During his tenure, he developed a solution for walk-through 360 VR images, worked on a collaborative VR tour solution, and developed an interaction module for a VR solution for using non-stereoscopic Android apps in VR. After his stint at Samsung, Prashanth joined SmartVizX - We are VR® as a Senior Software Engineer. Here, he continued to work on developing VR solutions and was responsible for creating cutting-edge software solutions for virtual reality and augmented reality. Currently, as a Senior Lead Engineer at Qualcomm XR Research, Prashanth is responsible for developing advanced software solutions for XR (Extended Reality) products. His work involves researching and developing new algorithms, working on 3D graphics, and computer vision. He is also involved in developing software solutions for AR/VR devices and mobile platforms.
