Prashanth Gurunath is a Web Solutions Engineer at Google in London. He is a part of the gTech team that develops products for Google ads and sales. Prashanth is also the founder of Tequip Software Solutions Pvt Ltd, a bootstrapped startup that specializes in creating tech products from scratch and scaling them up. Prashanth is known for his innovative product, City Square, which finds equidistant locations. He was the first developer in India to create this product, and it has been featured in various news publications like The New Indian Express, YourStory, and DailyHunt. Apart from his startup, Prashanth has over 2 years of full-time experience as a Software Developer and has completed 4 internships as a developer between 2015-2019. He has also mentored 1659 mentees for a workshop in Android App Development as of July 2022 for MyCaptain, an IIM Bangalore incubated EdTech Startup. Prashanth graduated from SRM University in May 2019 with a First Class with Distinction. He also pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from Queen Mary University of London, which he is expected to complete in September 2022. Prashanth's work experience includes working as a Software Engineer at RedBlackTree, where he created a Progressive Web Application called the Customer Portal for a US-based client, PairAnything. He used Redux architecture to enhance the application's performance and was responsible for API integrations and integrating chat functionality using socket programming and push notifications using FCM. He also worked on a project management desktop application called Open Gantt using ElectronJs, Angular, and Typescript. Prashanth's tech stack includes Web, Android, Software Engineering, Typescript, and Redux. With 3.7 years of relevant experience, Prashanth is an accomplished professional with a passion for building tech products from scratch and scaling them up.
