Prashanth Raghu is a Principal Engineer at Zeta Suite with a passion for startups, cloud computing, and computer science. He has a masters by research degree from the National University of Singapore, rated as the 8th best computer science program in the world. Prashanth has worked on building an indoor emulator for outdoor wireless testbeds to understand wireless conditions well ahead of deploying and developing protocols for such systems. He has also successfully passed the Google Summer of Code'14 working for Openstack Zaqar, a Queing system for different Openstack components. Prashanth has worked for Citrix Systems Research and Development Center, Bangalore, for a period of two years. In this period, he was part of a growing team handling the transition of GoToMeeting from a legacy architecture to a SOA(Service Oriented Architecture) based system. He is currently working as a Staff Software Engineer at Inmobi. Prashanth has founded two startups, http://www.ytrender.com (A youtube based trend analyzer) and http://11lines.info (A concise news site on politics, sports, and technology). These startups did not move beyond product visualization due to funding constraints. He was also among a 3 member team selected to be a part of the exchange program at HEIG-VD(University of Applied Sciences), Switzerland. Here he developed a fully functional hybrid cloud with close to 400 virtual machines and deployed an automated load balancing video site that could scale on the current system load. Prashanth has a diverse skill set, including design, mobile, integration, research, and infrastructure. He is proficient in technologies such as Redis, Python, Web, QA, iOS, Salesforce, and microservices. He has worked as a Lead Backend Engineer at Signeasy, where he architected and developed a system to send multiple documents, integrated Google/Outlook contacts, and enabled dynamic templating before issuing signature requests. He also migrated mobile clients to the new PDF platform, which was time-sensitive and had the highest impact on the most active user base of Signeasy. Prashanth has experience in architecture, design, code review, and mentoring.
