Prashanth Sandela is a seasoned ML engineer with over 8 years of experience in web designing, data engineering, ETL, and analytics. He is currently working as a staff ML engineer at Shipt, where he is responsible for developing and deploying machine learning models to improve the customer experience. Prashanth started his career as a freelancer in web development and has since designed hundreds of scrapers on several dozen websites. He has also worked as a data engineer at Trianz, where he created a utility using Pentaho Data Integration that is now being used as a solution accelerator. His colleagues have even dubbed him the "Pentaho Guru" for his expertise in the field. After pursuing a master's degree in computer science at San Jose State University, Prashanth developed a keen interest in big data and data mining. He has participated in various data challenges, including one presented at Splunk Corporation in San Francisco. Prashanth is highly skilled in coding and algorithms and aspires to become a data scientist.
