Prashanth S. is a highly skilled Software Engineer at Cisco's Cloud Networking Team with a solid experience in designing and developing backend services using Golang and Python. He has a strong background in Cloud Infrastructure and Terraform and is highly experienced in MongoDB and Dgraph(Graph Database). Prashanth has a Master's degree in Data Science from Indiana University and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Warangal. Prior to joining Cisco, Prashanth worked as a Summer Intern at The Bee Corp, where he automated the process of collecting historical weather data at the specified location by writing scripts using Python. He also worked on Mask-RCNN architecture to improve the already existing hive segmentation algorithm the company uses to work on anomalous images and also recognize the size of the object in the image. He built a production-level system that runs several processes on the image on AWS and returns the segmented objects and the metadata. Prashanth also worked as an Associate Instructor for Principles of Machine Learning at Indiana University Bloomington, where he shared his knowledge with 85 students registered for the course and acted as a mentor to help them complete Machine Learning Projects.
