Prashanth Shivaram is a seasoned Engineering and Product Management professional with over 16 years of experience in building large-scale web applications and technology platforms in product companies. As a Senior Manager II, Software Engineering at Walmart Global Tech India, he is responsible for defining vision, strategy, product discovery, product market fit, planning, and execution of products in lean agile ways of working. Prashanth has a proven track record of hiring, building, mentoring, and coaching product teams from scratch to drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities. Prior to joining Walmart, Prashanth worked at General Electric as a Technology Manager/TPM/Staff Software Engineer. He led two cross-functional teams of 20 engineers in a scaled agile environment and launched Caradigm IAM product (Provision 5.0), which enabled organizations to efficiently manage the complete lifecycle of user access to applications and patient data. He was able to fasten user onboarding by more than 40%, leading to an annualized savings of 1M USD. Prashanth holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Visvesvaraya Technological University and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Marimallapa High School, Mysore.
