Prashanth Sriram is a Full Stack Software and DevOps Engineer with over 10 years of relevant experience in designing, testing, maintaining, and deploying highly efficient, robust, and fault-tolerant applications on the Cloud. He is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Optum, where he contributes to building web applications using Django and React JS, which are deployed on AWS. Prashanth is a polyglot engineer with a diverse skill set that includes Software Engineering, DevOps, Frontend and Backend development, AWS, test automation, Python, Web development, integration, CI/CD, Ansible, MySQL, Elastic Search, Spark, Terraform, Big Data, Jenkins, Salesforce, and ETL. He is passionate about solving interesting problems and thrives in high-impact small teams. Above all, he enjoys programming and writing clean code with tests. In his past roles, Prashanth has worked as a Senior Engineer at CrowdStrike and as VP - Software Engineering at Vayana Network. At Vayana Network, he was responsible for designing, testing, and maintaining a cloud-based trade financing and card payment network using Python and Kotlin. He also helped design and build a PCI-compliant Payment Card Interface using Python and integration with a large entity in the card payment space. Prashanth has also built a generic email-based Invoice collaboration system using Python for factors in the international market. He has experience with integrations with multiple marquee corporates, Banks, and Financial Institutions. Prashanth has a BE (Hons.) in Computer Science Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS). He has huge exposure to Linux, Git, and the AWS cloud platform and its various services like EC2, EBS, IAM, S3, SES, SNS, etc. He has also built a log analyzer and dashboard using the ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) stack to provide almost near-time data on API traffic.
