Prashanth Sundararaman is a Principal Software Developer and Team Lead with over 10 years of experience in the field. He is a highly skilled technical engineer with a passion for keeping up with the latest technologies and experimenting in different areas. Currently, he is working on a part of the 5G solution for the cloud and has been dabbling in Golang and Kubernetes most recently. Prashanth has mentored, designed, and led projects to completion with teams of engineers. He has expertise in C, C++, Golang, Python, Kubernetes, TCP, HTTP, Object-Oriented Design, designing microservices, debugging with gdb, STL, Linux, 5G, and Cloud-native technologies. Currently, Prashanth is employed as a Principal Software Engineer at Red Hat, where he is responsible for OpenShift Platform Enablement. In the past, he has worked as a Principal Engineer and MTS at Affirmed Networks. Prashanth holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He has worked on a variety of projects throughout his career, including designing and supporting the SCTP protocol for 5G on the cloud, implementing a basic UDP/QUIC proxy for intercepting and rate-limiting QUIC traffic, and designing and implementing various components of an HTTP-Proxy service to perform various functions such as optimization, content filtering, and rate limiting. Prashanth's technical skills, experience, and passion for technology make him a valuable asset to any organization.
