Prashanth Venkatesh is a highly skilled Senior Member of Technical Staff at OCI with a wealth of experience in software engineering. With almost 5 years of relevant experience, he has worked for some of the biggest names in the tech industry, including Amazon and Intuit. Currently, Prashanth is a Research Intern at National Aerospace Laboratories, where he is working on the analysis of real-time flight parameters for Stall Warning Systems. He has also developed a dashboard for analyzing the compliance of airline software standards and flight parameter values with RCTA standards. Prior to this, Prashanth worked as a Machine Learning Intern for the Innovation and Advanced Technology Team at Intuit, where he worked on two projects. The first project involved the development of an expert tax system called AutoTKE, which automates parsing of tax forms for Intuit TurboTax, using machine learning and natural language processing. Prashanth designed and implemented a module that generates abstractions for complex mathematical calculations in tax forms. The second project involved implementing a dialogue state tracking system to accurately track the subject and context of the conversation of two small business owners, using word embeddings and long short term memory networks. Prashanth has also worked as a Co-op at Intuit, where he worked on OAuth2 Authorization Framework implementation for QuickBooks Point of Sale. He developed proof of concepts for new users setup as well as existing users migration to OAuth2 based system and delivered key business outcomes with development of features like Advanced Customer Management for the latest version of the product. Prashanth holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota, where he was a diligent student from 2018 to 2020. He also attended VVS Sardar Patel Pre University College from 2011 to 2013. Prashanth's tech stack includes software engineering, and he has honed his skills in Python, TensorFlow, and NLTK.
