Prasita Mukherjee is a PhD student at Purdue University, specializing in Computer Science. With a keen interest in the intersection of Formal Methods, Compilers, and Machine Learning, she is currently working towards her doctorate degree. Prasita is also a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Purdue University, where she has been teaching Data Structures since Fall 2019. She has also taught courses in Development for CS 251, Systems Programming, and Programming Languages. Prior to joining Purdue University, Prasita worked as a Teaching Assistant at IIT Guwahati, where she taught courses in Formal Methods for Software Verification, Mathematics for Computer Science, Computer Graphics Lab, and C Lab for first-year undergraduates. She has also worked as a Software Engineer at Polaris Networks, where she was involved in front-end development of NetEPC NFV. Prasita has a strong academic background, having completed her Master of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Calcutta University. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from St. Xavier's College and completed her Higher Secondary education in Science from Holy Home. Prasita's tech stack includes Spring, Machine Learning, Frontend, and Software Engineering.
