Prasoon Anand is an accomplished Engineering Leader with over 19 years of experience in the technology industry. Currently, he is the Director of Engineering & Strategy at Walmart Global Tech India, where he leads engineering teams that build software, solutions, and data analytics for Indirect spend management, including Indirect Procurement, Travel & Expense, and Sourcing at Walmart. Prior to his current role, Prasoon worked as a Senior Engineering Manager at Walmart, where he led the development and implementation of Indirect spend management solutions across the globe. These solutions included products and solutions for procurement, travel and expense management, as well as intelligent spend reporting and analytics. Before joining Walmart, Prasoon worked as a Director at SAP, where he was part of a globally distributed set up for Logistics, Manufacturing, and Industries Product Unit. He led product management, development, and delivery for India Localization - Goods & Service Tax, ideation to delivery of SAP Digital Compliance Service, responsible for SAP CRM localization of all supported countries, and SAP ERP MM and SD localization for ~14 country versions. Prasoon holds a degree in the iLead Program in association with Walmart from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, where he studied strategy, data-driven decision making, and business acumen. He also holds a degree from DAV Public School in Khagaul. Prasoon's technical expertise includes senior software engineering and product management.
