Prasoon Paritosh is a highly accomplished professional with over 6 years of experience in the fields of logistics, quality improvement, project management, and team management. Currently pursuing PGDM (General Management) from XLRI Jamshedpur, he is an active member of the XLRI General Management Branding Committee (GM 2020-21) and has successfully executed the "Placement Brochure" project with cross-functional teams and external creative vendors. He has also led the first-ever GMP Micro-Website Project - https://xlrigm.in/ - which is a profile-based listing of the PGDM 2020-21 batch. In his previous role as a Logistics Analyst at Caterpillar, Prasoon was responsible for digitizing inventory management reporting, analyzing quality reports, and performing root cause analysis for technical and logistical errors. He also initiated and drove the adoption of process vigilance methods for efficiency improvement. As a project manager, he spearheaded the Sale Order Management Project of Hummingbird MFGPro ERP with SAP ERP to support sales flow legal entity requirements, saved $18,000 per year by transforming engine packaging standards, and successfully negotiated a 10% rate reduction for spare part delivery in an annual maintenance contract with MHE vendors. Prasoon has also led a team of 15 members for warehouse operation job roles in process monitoring, manpower effectiveness, and capability utilization. Prasoon has a Bachelor's degree in Automobile from Manipal Institute of Technology and completed his schooling from Loyola School Jamshedpur. He is proficient in integration and holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Caterpillar.
