Prasoon Rai is an innovative and solution-focused IT professional with over 13 years of experience in IT development, testing, and Agile methodology. He is specialized in planning, leading, organizing, and motivating Agile project teams to achieve a high level of performance and quality that provides exceptional business value to users. Currently, he is working as a Scrum Master at Preqin, where he mentors, coaches, and ensures that the Scrum processes are followed. Besides, he is working on getting the organization closer to a culture of 'Agile Center of Excellence' and being responsible for all things Scrum within the organization. Prasoon has previously worked at Infosys as a Scrum Master, leading cross-functional teams related to Business Transformation, Digital Transformation, IT, software, and development/testing. He has successfully conducted Scrum ceremonies like Sprint planning, daily scrum, Sprint review & Sprint retrospective, product backlog grooming, stakeholder updates, and new employee mentoring. His core competencies include Agile methodology, strong communication skills, customer interaction, excellent problem-solving abilities, conflict resolution, process implementation, strong Mainframe experience, prolonged exposure to all the phases of SDLC, solid JCL, COBOL, DB2 knowledge, and debugging proficiency. Before joining Preqin, Prasoon worked at Accenture as a Senior Program Analyst, where he was trained on all technologies but was eventually tied to Grand Old Mainframes. He worked on complete software life cycle ranging from designing to developing codes and then supporting/maintaining them. Prasoon holds a XII degree in Science from St. Xavier's, Muzaffarpur, and a High School degree in Class Xth from DAV Public School, Muzaffarpur. His tech stack includes test, Software Engineer, and Senior Software Engineer.
