Prasoon Saurav is a highly experienced software engineer with over 11 years of experience in delivering software products in the areas of infrastructure and distributed systems. He has a proven track record of delivering multiple high throughput-low latency, scalable distributed systems and has expertise in system programming, specializing in Data Plane Forwarding, MMU, TCAM, and QoS for Network Operating Systems. As a lead engineer responsible for design and development of infrastructure for large scale distributed systems, Prasoon has demonstrated his expertise in leading technical teams through design and architectural decisions and execution. He has experience building multiple products in collaboration with cross-functional teams from product conceptualization to launch for both startups and large organizations. Prasoon is proficient in problem-solving and system design, both high level and low level. He is currently working as a Software Engineering Lead at a stealth startup, where he is responsible for designing and developing infrastructure for large scale distributed systems. Prior to his current role, Prasoon worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Arista, where he was responsible for data plane forwarding, memory management, TCAM, and QoS. He also worked as a Software Engineer at Parallocity, where he was responsible for designing and developing infrastructure components for compiler, memory checker, syscall trapping and analysis, run-time code coverage analytics features for Zeus Virtual Machine. Prasoon holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Patna.
