Prasoon is a seasoned software engineer with over 10 years of experience in designing and developing system software. Currently, he holds the position of Software Engineer at Arista Networks, Inc, where he works on cutting-edge features for Arista switches based on Broadcom's StrataXGS Trident/Tomahawk ASICs. His expertise lies in Quality of Service (QoS), Memory Management Unit (MMU), TCAM, and Control Plane Bandwidth Management. Before joining Arista, Prasoon worked as a Member of Technical Staff at Parallocity, where he was part of a highly challenging performance-driven early-stage startup environment. He contributed to the development of Zeus Virtual Machine (ZVM), which revolutionized the way the development community approaches program analysis and error detection. He worked on multiple compiler and front-end features for ZVM, specifically targeting C++ code analytics. Prasoon is a graduate of the National Institute of Technology, Patna, where he earned a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering. He has a strong technical background in Golang, Java, C, Elastic Search, Kafka, and Frontend development. With over 11 years of relevant experience, Prasoon has developed a deep understanding of the software development process and is passionate about creating innovative solutions to complex problems.
