Prastik Gyawali is a Software Development Engineer II at Adobe, currently working with the Document Cloud Services team responsible for scaling Adobe Acrobat’s power to the next billion users through cloud computing and backend micro-services. He is designated at the MTS 2 level, indicating his advanced skill set and experience in software development. Prior to joining Adobe, Prastik worked as a Software Engineer at Samsung, where he was responsible for writing software drivers for Samsung Phone/Tablet cameras and writing boot loaders for B2B devices such as XCoverPro6 and TabActivePro2. He also ensured that the SM-7325 Qualcomm chipset models were backward compatible with the new Android 13 OS and fixed bugs in varied QC models. Prastik has also worked as a Research Intern at Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur, where he worked as a software programmer with two C++ frameworks, GEANT4 and ROOT, to simulate the cosmic ray distribution in space as per the BON'20 physical model. He helped validate the BON'20 model in ROOT and was supervised by Dr. Kavita Lalwani Ma'am during the course of the project. Prastik holds a Bachelor of Technology in Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur, where he graduated in 2021. He has relevant experience of 1.86 years and is skilled in Software Engineering, Microservices, Backend, Android, Mobile, and Research Science. Overall, Prastik is a talented and skilled software engineer with experience in both industry and research settings. His expertise in microservices and backend development, as well as his experience with Android and mobile development, make him a valuable asset to any team.
