Prateek Agrawal is an Assistant Vice President at EXL, a leading operations management and analytics company. With a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Indore, Prateek has specialized in the Finance domain, which helped him clear all three levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exam in his first attempt. Currently, Prateek works as a Senior Manager in the Corporate Strategy, Financial Planning & Analysis team at EXL. He has extensive experience in preparing the Annual Operating Plan, forecasting, presenting the long-term strategy, historical financial analysis, competitor benchmarking, acquisition-related due diligence, valuation, and proficiency in the MS Office suite of products. Prateek has worked on multiple projects of strategic importance to the company, aimed at achieving improved profitability or operational efficiency. Before his current role, Prateek worked as a Manager at EXL, where he was responsible for building and presenting a top-down and bottom-up Annual Operating Plan for all business units, accurately forecasting the P&L, analyzing actuals vs. forecast to provide insights and action items for each business unit, and leading the analysis on quarterly results of the company. He also led a proposal to the COO and CFO for the revalidation of the hurdle rate used for approving the internal investments in the company, resulting in improved reported margin and EPS. Prateek has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from GGSIPU. He completed his Senior School education from Father Agnel School and High School education from the same institution, where he scored an impressive 93.33% in Xth Standard. With relevant experience of 5.18 years, Prateek has proven himself to be a valuable asset to EXL, and his expertise in financial planning and analysis has helped the company achieve its strategic goals.
