Prateek B. is a highly motivated Software Development Engineer-2 at Licious, where he currently works in the Supply Chain team. He has a strong background in Computer Science, having graduated from BITS, Pilani KK Birla Goa Campus in 2019. Prateek is passionate about taking on challenges and delivering better than expected results. Prateek's experience includes working at Flipkart as a Software Development Engineer-1 in the Planning team. During his time there, he designed and worked on Planning next, a generic forecasting model that reduced the WMAPE on the forecasts provided by the business team across all categories by an average of 30 percent. He also designed and worked on creating an automated flow of requesting and allocating machine instances, reducing the time required for the whole process from 3 weeks to 3 days. Prior to his professional career, Prateek served as a Teaching Assistant at BITS Pilani KK Birla Goa Campus. As the Lead TA for lab sessions in Design and Analysis of Algorithms, he was responsible for making algorithmic questions and test cases based on that week's syllabus, as well as grading and evaluating the labs. Prateek is passionate about competitive programming and regularly participates in coding competitions. He is proficient in Software Engineering and testing, with a strong technical skillset.
