Prateek Baranwal is an upcoming Software Developer Engineer at 1K and an ex-SDE Intern at Locofast. He is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, where he pursued an Integrated Dual Degree in Industrial Chemistry. Prateek is a highly analytical and technically proficient individual with a passion for solving real-life problems using conventional data structures and algorithms. In his current role as a Software Developer Intern at Locofast, Prateek has been responsible for designing and developing new features for assigned applications. He has also worked closely with the Tech and Product teams to identify user requirements and incorporated SDLC using tools like Jira and Bitbucket while building and testing features. In his previous role at Demux Academy, Prateek worked on a full-stack movie search application, where he built a Rest API for fetching information about various movies using a third-party API (OMDB API). He used Node.js and Express.js for the backend and CSS and Bootstrap components for the frontend application. He also used Git for version control and deployed the application using Amazon Web Services (AWS), including AWS EC2 Ubuntu image, Virtual Hosting through ApacheV2, and Version Control. Prateek's technical skills include Software Engineering, AWS, Web Development, Backend Development, Search, Javascript, NodeJS, and Frontend Development.
