Prateek Gupta is a Software Development Engineer at Microsoft IDC, working with the Knowledge Mining and Insights Team. He is a M.Sc Mathematics and B.E Computer Sciences Graduate from BITS Pilani. With a passion for web development, Prateek is an enthusiastic JavaScript developer who has been exploring Machine Learning, especially NLP, for a while now. Recently, he has developed an interest in Reinforcement Learning. Prateek has gained extensive experience during his 4.20 years of relevant experience in the software industry. He has worked as a Software Development Intern at BlueJeans Network, where he was responsible for building a dao-interceptor for the API layer to add generic tokens and retry capabilities. He also worked on automating WCAG accessibility standards and built a device setup wizard for BJN Events. At Vahan, he worked as a Machine Learning Intern, where he built a Neural Machine Translation (NMT) model with attention mechanism for text correction and normalization of hinglish chat text based on normalized google-translate variant of words. Prateek's educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He also has a Higher Secondary Education from S.D. Jain Modern School. Prateek's tech stack includes Software Engineering, Reinforcement Learning, ML, NLP, DAO, Frontend, Javascript, Web, and Normalization.
