Prateek Gupta is a Senior Backend Engineer with over 7 years of relevant experience in designing and coding software functionalities and leading systems at scale. Prateek specializes in owning large projects involving critical design decisions, multiple team members, cross-team collaborations, and multiple tech stacks. In the past, Prateek has worked at Swiggy as an SDE III, where he worked on a tech debt to break a legacy monolith system, which was one of the earliest systems of Swiggy, into a microservices world. He has also worked in the backend delivery team in the driver-partner pod, where he built a centralized communication service for the delivery team. Prateek holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He is a hardworking and goal-oriented individual with an interest in reading and writing blogs and exploring new technologies.
