Prateek Jain is an experienced Application Developer with a passion for building innovative solutions that solve complex problems. With over 7 years of experience in the information technology and services industry, Prateek has honed his skills in Java, Kotlin, Node.js, Agile Methodologies, Android, and backend technologies like Spring-boot. Currently, Prateek is a Developer Programs Engineer at Google, where he is responsible for developing programs that help developers build better applications. Prior to Google, he worked at ThoughtWorks as a Senior Consultant, where he contributed to the development of web applications for a German automotive corporation and a major US airline. During his time at ThoughtWorks, Prateek followed a micro frontend architecture with React JS and used Kotlin and Clojure on microservices architecture with Spring-boot. He also developed automation suites for application testing using Selenium and Cucumber framework, built continuous integration pipelines to automate deployment using GoCD and Gomatic, and containerized services using Docker and deployed them on an Openshift cluster. Prateek's experience also includes developing a BFF service using Spring-boot for a mobile application, using Google espresso to test user flows in an automated manner, and creating automation and visual assertions using the Calabash framework. Prateek holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Application from the University of Madras and a Diploma in Computer Science from Guru Nanak Dev (Co-ed) Polytechnic. He is also skilled in Postgres, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, Redux, and other technologies.
