Prateek Jindal is an experienced product and business leader with over 11 years of experience in building and scaling technology-led businesses across various industries such as Fin-tech, Hyperlocal Grocery, Loyalty, and Ride Hailing/ Shared Mobility. He is currently the Co-founder and Chief Product Officer at Uni Cards, where he is responsible for leading product design and management. Prateek is a computer science engineer and an MBA graduate from the National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) in Mumbai. He is a super passionate problem solver who believes in using data and technology to solve complex consumer problems. Prateek is very data-driven and customer-first, and he believes in a lot of experimentation before scaling. His strength lies in building high-performance teams and bringing structure, agility, and depth of problem-solving into organizations. In his previous role as VP and Head of Product & Marketplace at Swvl, Prateek was responsible for setting up two central functions from scratch - Product and Marketplace. He built an experienced, high-performance, and multicultural team of 25+ members across Dubai, Egypt, Pakistan, and Kenya. Prateek also laid out the structure of Product/Engg/Data Science team and roadmap for 2020 that helped drive key initiatives across all product sub-functions. Prateek has also worked at Ola as Product & Business Head - Pay Later, Lending and Wallet, where he was responsible for building Ola Money Postpaid, India's largest Pay Later, under Ola Financial Services. He led a team of 40+ across Product, Category/Ops, and Business Development and scaled to millions of MAUs operating at ~0 CAC. Prateek's education history includes an MBA in Marketing/Marketing Management, General from NITIE and a B-Tech in Computer Science from Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering, New Delhi. He also attended Naval Public School, New Delhi for his High School education. Prateek's tech stack includes experience in product management, data science, and senior software engineering. He is currently looking for rockstar product designers and product managers to join his team at Uni Cards.
