Prateek is an experienced data scientist and modeller with a wealth of experience in statistical and mathematical modelling, particularly in the domains of IOT, Text, and Vision. He completed his graduation from IIT Madras, where he majored in Engineering Design and minored in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering. Prateek has conducted research in the field of statistical modelling and has published papers on the subject. Currently working as an Assistant Vice President at JP Morgan, Prateek is a senior data scientist working on high-impact projects related to customer intelligence and onboarding experience. He has worked on speech recognition, speaker identification, and fraud detection, and has trained and fine-tuned models on speech-related tasks. Prateek is also involved in building client strategy to improve portfolio sustainability scores. Prior to his current role, Prateek worked as a Lead Data Scientist at Aditya Birla, where he created VEDA (Video enabled Decision analytics) solution, the first digital solution that ABG sold outside the group. He has also worked as a Sr. Data Scientist at Quantela, where he worked with data from multiple cities, developing solutions to assist city owners, government authorities, and city populations. Prateek has developed city policies based on statistics from sensor data, which involves real-time machine learning and forecasting solutions. He has also developed cross-domain solutions to relate social data (text) with city parameters like traffic, crime, etc. Prateek's education history includes a Master of Technology in Engineering Design from IIT Madras and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Design from the same institution. He also completed JEE preparation from Bansal Classes. Prateek's tech stack includes Research Scientist, Data Scientist, Sentiment Analysis, ResNet, Object detection, CNN, Object Detection, and ML.
