Prateek Kumar is a passionate Backend Developer with a keen interest in technology and gaming. He started his journey in technology during his school days when he attended his first computer lab class. This led to his love for gaming and an interest in learning about the technology behind it. Today, he is a self-proclaimed tech-nerd who is always eager to learn new programming languages and frameworks. Prateek is currently working as an SDE-I and Backend Engineer at Dangal Games, where he takes responsibility for the whole product/feature cycle from communicating with third parties to designing, developing, testing, and deploying the final product on production. He works closely with lead engineers and architects to design and implement scalable features. He specializes in developing, testing, and troubleshooting multiple REST APIs involving various microservices and databases in a synchronous/asynchronous manner daily. He also deploys code on various environments using CI/CD pipeline, Docker, and Kubernetes along with multiple databases and consul alteration. Prateek's specialties include problem-solving, responsive design principles, and designing a scalable microservices architecture. He has experience in Python, Java, Data Structures, Algorithms, Spring Boot, Rest APIs, SQL, MongoDB, Redis, Scylla, Apache Kafka, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Docker, and Git/GitHub. He is always eager to learn and integrate new programming languages, frameworks, or principles into his coding web. Apart from coding, Prateek enjoys watching football matches, dancing, cooking, reading, debating about politics, and playing cricket with friends. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies.
