Prateek Rai is a highly skilled Software Engineer with 1.86 years of relevant experience in the industry. Currently working at Goldman Sachs, he has previously worked at Tekion and OYO, where he has gained extensive experience in developing and managing software applications. At Tekion, Prateek was part of the Platform Galaxy Team, where he worked on enabling multi-vehicle functionality for Calculation Engine and migrating cash rebates from Moto-Insights to CMS Decoder, which is used for computing effective rate in deal interest. He has also worked with OYO's Inventory Team, where he managed hotels' availability, restrictions, prepaid, overbooking, and policies. Additionally, he played a crucial role in designing a microservice from scratch to remove the circular dependency between the ordering team and inventory team to calculate booking count in real-time. He also enabled Pay-Later functionality, which allows users to give credit card details, and OYO will charge after the free cancellation period ends. Prateek completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from BIT Mesra in 2021. He also has a Class XII degree in Science Stream (C.B.S.E) from Lucknow Public Schools and Colleges and a Class X degree in C.B.S.E from Sarla International Academy.
