Prateek Rokadiya is a Software Development Engineer at Microsoft, currently working in the 1ES team. He holds a Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering from Santa Clara University and has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research. Prateek has a passion for technology and innovation, and he is always experimenting with new technologies and building his own projects. Before joining Microsoft, Prateek worked as a Full Stack Software Developer at udelv, where he developed a custom MongoDB Incremental Backup mechanism that reduced machine work hours from 8 hours to only 30 minutes. He also developed a highly concurrent, low latency microservice for the notification system to monitor all the service faults, an automated build alert system, an error code alarm messaging system, and a log interpreter to emulate browser-based user interactions for in-depth debugging. Additionally, he added a feature to clone application configurations in different environments, which led to a significant decrease in configuration time. Prateek has experience working with Python, Nodejs, Typescript, Angular, Nestjs, Shell, Jest, and Jasmine. Prateek is a versatile individual with experience in software engineering, research, and Android development. He is also familiar with GCP and Java. His education history includes an Associate's degree in Leadership and Creative Thinking - Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from the International School of Entrepreneurial Leadership and a High School degree in PCM - CSE from St. Paul Higher Secondary School. With 5.44 years of relevant experience, Prateek is always looking for opportunities to learn more and discuss futuristic systems and features. He is a quick learner and a team player who believes in bringing the offline world in sync with the virtual world.
