Prateek Sharma is a Software Engineer with a product-first mindset currently working with Grab's Digibank. He has over 4 years of relevant experience in the field and has a passion for driving impact and making lives better with the power of technology. Prateek is skilled in AngularJS, Web Development, UI, Frontend, Backend, and testing. In his previous role as Technical Team Lead at Fountane LLC, Prateek improved developer productivity by creating the boilerplate for Hasura GraphQL Engine with Apollo GraphQL’s Client implementation for Angular that’s now standardized across all of Fountane’s angular projects. He also led a team of 5 developers through rapid prototyping from initial requirements to testable product in 3 months for Dashbeyond.com, a career encyclopedia for students and parents. Prateek worked closely with the UI/UX teams to build a Design System that increased collaborative effectiveness and reduced churn. He also actively worked with stakeholders during Product Strategy to break down business requirements into product features. Prateek played a key role in building the Admin Panel to create a scalable Content Management System for the team to curate over 400+ career profile write-ups and quizzes. As a part of this team, they helped win the Babson Beta Alumni challenge, get accepted into the MassChallenge Boston accelerator, and get acquired by Alison. In his previous role as a Web Developer at Fountane LLC, Prateek created an asset library of reusable components/pages/interactions on a crunch for investor demos and user testing prototypes for Scirque.com, a real-world project collaboration platform for experiential learning. He rebuilt the company website to account for new and evolving marketing strategies and built the front-end of a tool for generating branded shortened URLs, which had a massive impact on how the company markets itself and so far has been used to generate 415 customer-facing links. Prateek holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Gandhi Institute of Technology & Management (GITAM) University, Visakhapatnam.
